entropicalia: I love the running theme of absence. And the fact that Roger is creating from behind a wall of logic that he can't seem to shake. I've always imagined his creative process involving such. - - Your Roger and David are perfect. I love when they're trying to talk to Syd and they just can't manage to articulate to him - in his language - what it is they're trying to say. - - LOVE this sentence: "He was so angry with the manboyfor just...being the way he was."

entropicalia: David's guilty helping out on Syd's solo albums has always been intriguing to me, I'm so happy you worked it into this. - - "Dave was still a man, still an English man and he would never afford himself the luxury of feeling quite so helpless or self-indulgent" - that is awesome. - - And Roger ruminating on there being a crueler side to Syd that no one else gets to see is excellent. - - After David leaves I started getting that wonderful thrill that comes with reading a good conflict in fiction!

entropicalia: When Syd says "You know it's funny the way you finish each other's sentences like that." I stopped in my tracks for a second because that's just such a compelling, heady piece of dialog. That's my favorite part of the whole story, actually. Gah, wonderful. - - And then everything just snowballs into marvelous tension and trouble and I found myself so eager to get to the next sentence and the next that I got worried I was missing things! - - And that kiss! Ah! Gorgeous.

entropicalia: Your Syd is wonderful. Quiet and gone. The way he and Roger communicate - or rather DON'T communicate - in this piece is just superb. Really well done. - - The ending is terrific. It comes full circle and left me quite satisfied and wanting more at the same time. - - Really, really lovely story! Thank you so very much!!
