Chrissy: You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this, if only because of how Rick is and how Stewart is. And this: "Stewart pushed his egg around for a while longer, watching it leave shiny trails of grease around the plate like the sludge marks left by a snail on a sidewalk." made my evening. This made my evening. I love that they don't remember the encounter too much from 79 (side note - seeing Pete Willis (even for a brief moment) made me squee like nothing else! Thank you so, so, so much.

Mad Andy: Oh, excellent work! And damn, I have spent more hours than I care to mention at that very service station, over the years... and you have it bang on. Bravo!

Evaine: Oh I LOVED this! I love young and angry Stewart and adored pugnacious baby Rick! Their dialogue just ROCKED! And the settings and the inner thoughts. Yes Im babbling some. But I truly enjoyed this all to hell! Go DRUMMERS!! I could definitely see more of this pairing, yes indeed!

Rick: My favourite part of the story was the way the tables were turned on Stewart and Rick, as one and the other moved from obscurity to fame. 1987 was the time in Lepp's career were they were seconds away from the massive success of Hysteria, so that Stewart met up with Rick again at that point was an interesting contrast to Stew having lost The Police. I also really liked that they didn't remember each other. That touch of realism tempered what little sentimentality this could've had. Loved it.
